The Assistant Marketing Manager will report into the Marketing Manager and will assist in the management of the Buns & Rolls business and focus on understanding the needs of the consumer target.  The successful applicant has a passion for food and the consumer, a history of demonstrating analytical thinking, project management and will work closely with functional stakeholders across the business on day to day activities.
  • Active participant in the development of annual business reviews and marketing plans
  • Support Marketing Manager on the development and execution of Summer program, with a primary focus on in-store, consumer promotions and account-specific programs
  • Lead project coordination of New Product opportunities including innovation/renovation explorations, packaging improvements, and account presentations
  • Periodic/Monthly reporting of business performance to identify key performance drivers, opportunities and potential threats for the brands/segments.
  • Gather and analyze relevant market data (Nielsen Workstation Plus, Homescan) to identify & action insights as required.
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio activity and problem resolution with key functional areas including: customer brands, purchasing, consumer affairs, master files, finance, product development, regulatory, quality assurance, sales, operations and distribution.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, ideally with major in Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, ideally within the consumer packaged goods
  • Experience in elaborating strategic direction for a diverse portfolio of products/brands
  • Demonstrates strong thought leadership and problem solving abilities
  • Must possess excellent thought-leadership, analytical, presentation, organizational, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive and performance driven, be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Nielsen)
