The business will continue to grow market leadership and margins by investing in the premium whole grain product category, and by delivering continued product innovation in other bakery and snack categories.
 
MARKETS:
Canada Bread serves major grocery chains, retail outlets and foodservice operations across Canada. The company distributes branded products in the discount, mainstream and super-premium segments, and is the leading producer in most major bakery categories. It also produces private label products for grocery and foodservice outlet.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Managing VP’s calendar, overall marketing calendar and MLT meetings and call for agenda items
  • Managing expenses, lunch meetings & travel for VP and directors
  • Setting up new marketing hires in the system
  • Release announcements and marketing org charts
  • Maintaining and organizing shared marketing drives and any VP & general department filing
  • Marketing SPOC for IT setups & issues
  • On-boarding new hires on:
    • IT (Zoom, cell phone, Concur, printers …etc.) & general Office on-boarding
    • Key team members introductions
    • Key general marketing documents (e.g. Rubix, Ad track, Digital year in review)
  • Planning and managing marketing and commercial meetings/off-sites including agenda, invitees, venue, hotel & travel arrangements.
  • Planning and managing team’s fun events or personal milestones: birthdays, foodie Fridays, festivus, weddings …etc.
  • Ordering & maintaining office supplies
  • Ordering & tracking product samples for marketing team, VP & other CBLT members when needed
  • Shipping & courier for marketing department
  • Assist marketing coordinator and admin assistant with tasks as needed
  • Leading/assisting with special projects when needed
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
 
  • 5+ years previous senior administrative experience
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Superior organization and administrative skills.
  • Highly professional demeanor, suitable for interaction with senior customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong self-starter, able to effectively prioritize key tasks and deliverables with limited day-to-day direction.
  • Solution-oriented thinker, able to resolve conflicting demands in a timely and productive manner.
  • Positive attitude and respectful approach to others.
  • Ability to work with and manage highly confidential information.
