The business will continue to grow market leadership and margins by investing in the premium whole grain product category, and by delivering continued product innovation in other bakery and snack categories.
Reporting to Head of IT for Grupo Bimbo Canada, the IT Communications, Change Management and Training Lead is a Director level role requiring a diverse background that is an combination of; communications, project management, continuous improvement and change management.
Position Responsibilities:
• Leads IT Communications.  Builds and executes strategic communications plans to support IT programs and department initiatives.  This includes internal and external communications.
• Supports IT Operations with communications such as outage notifications.
• Leads the development, rollout and maintenance of IT policies.
• Lead the change management activities that result from the IT changes/improvements. This includes collaborating with the key user networks that are extensively used within the business.
• Develops communications for IT Executive.
• Works closely with Bimbo Canada communications
• Provides communications support for the other IT Leads, as needed.
• Builds and oversee the execution of IT training plans.
• Adheres to corporate channels and standards for communications.
• Ensures IT training materials are created/regularly updated to support new and existing programs.
• Manages the delivery of training programs (oversees scheduling, monitoring, tracking).
• Leads User Experience Improvement plan, activities and execution.  Works closely with the IT Operations team and other departments to continuously improve the experience.  This includes overseeing the documentation of existing processes, identifying potential efficiencies, and managing the implementation of those efficiencies.
• Other activities related to the engagement of associates in IT initiatives, as needed.
• Experience working in large matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders
• Background must be a combination of; communications, change management and project management within a technical team   environment
• Highly self-motivated.
• Adaptable and eager to take on new activities.
• Flexible with schedule/work hours.
• Available for some travel.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of communications experience.  IT training and/or change management experience are an asset.
• Undergraduate degree plus postgraduate program in communications or journalism.
• French and/or Spanish as secondary language is an asset.
