Canada Bread currently has an opening for a Journeyman Industrial Millwright at our Edmonton Bread Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair high-speed industrial bakery machinery.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative & Predictive Maintenance
  • Contribute to continuously improving process capability to drive plant effectiveness.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental standards at all times
 REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed Millwright with electrical background
  • Food & Beverage manufacturing experience is an asset, especially with high-speed packaging equipment
  • Flexible to work all shifts in a 24 hour/ 7 day week facility
  • May be required to work overtime as necessary for projects and shift relief
  • Certificate holder for minimum of 2 years
  • Experience with computerized maintenance and inventory reporting system will be an asset
  • Self-directed / motivated team player open to new technology with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Must have a full compliment of personal/professional hand tools IDd for Food Safety program
  • Have a good understanding of lubrication, preventive and predictive maintenance, alignment and modern maintenance methods
  • Experience with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors.
  • Able to assist Electricians with electric repairs and installations
