Position Summary:

Provide service to the Production facility as a Journeyman Electrician in all areas required

Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist with installing, maintaining, testing, trouble shooting and repairing all electrical equipment and electronic controls on various types of equipment. May be responsible for the following:
 
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and electrical code specifications
  • Install, examine, replace and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, cse assemblies and other electrical components
  • Troubleshooting and solving many different problems during the shift
  • Perform PM’s (preventative maintenance)
  • Working knowledge of PLCs-Allen Bradley is an asset
  • Comply with OH&S regulations and corporate GMP’s
  • Work independently with others to solve problems
  • Any and all work within the Maintenance department
  • Flexible work schedule (any shift pattern covering 24hrs/7days/week
Education:

​Must have Electrical Journeyman - Red Seal certification
