Shift Days: Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday

Hiring Requirements:
As a Baker at Bimbo Canada, you will be:

• Baking experience & Mechanical aptitude is an asset
• Be able to perform physically demanding work (up to 40lbs)
• Depending on production requirements, associates may be assigned alternate duties and additional responsibilities.
• Entering data into ORACLE system, able to perform start-ups at beginning of production runs ensuring Pre-op Safety & Food Safety inspection are performed.
• Effective communication across all areas of the process and other departments (i.e. sanitation, maintenance, distribution, etc.), including supervision and lead hand.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for all mixing resources (equipment & associates).
• Promote a safe work environment, ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), 5S and housekeeping are properly maintained within the work area.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner according to HACCP requirements (i.e. lot numbers, etc.).
• Ensure quality of the products is within specifications.
• Be able to cover different positions, that has been trained on, daily.
