Hiring Requirements: The floater relief operator provides coverage for all plant-wide relief needs. The floater relief operator will be assigned to cover assignments due to not limited to; vacation, illness, injuries, leave of absences and so forth. The vacation relief operators may be required to rotate between shifts, or alternatively posted and assigned to a fixed shift, depending on the current business demands. As a Floater Relief Operator at Bimbo Canada, you will be:
Set up, operate, and adjust machines
Check product quality and adjust as necessary
Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment and main processing area
Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to ensure correct processing
Maintain shift logs and record of other data
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
Actively participate in, and report all Health & Safety/Quality issues to Shift Supervisor/QA
At times, associates may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, standing for long periods of time, as well as walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting will be required.

Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written, perform basic mathematical functions
