Hiring Requirements:
As a Sanitation Associate at Bimbo Canada, you will be:
  • ·       Follow and perform the daily and weekly tasks assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor. 
    ·       Help enforce requirement and procedures as instructed by the Sanitation Supervisor.
    ·       Preparing and effectively utilizing general sanitation chemicals (Safety Handling, Applications, Dilutions), and equipment cleaning requirements on all lines, equipment and general housekeeping (including Foamers, Power washers, Vacuums, Sanitizers and floor scrubbers).  
    ·       Ensure all required documentation is completed on timely basis and is accurate.
    ·       Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHMIS Procedures, OHSA Practices, Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices 
    ·       Actively participate in, and report all Health & Safety/Quality issues to Shift Supervisor/QA 
    ·       At times, associates may be required to lift up to 75 pounds and frequently exert 35 pounds of force. Additionally, standing for long periods of time, as well as walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting will be required.  
    ·       Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: 
  • Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written, perform basic mathematical functions 
  • Essential computer skills and/or basic knowledge
