Hiring Requirements:

The Trainee Program is a 3-year program, which its main objective is to create and maintain a robust talent pool for global managers positions that underpins growth to meet the new challenges of globalization and market competitiveness. It also looks for develop leadership skills and abilities in the trainees so that they can meet the needs of Grupo Bimbo.
Once completed the program, the participant, having demonstrated significant effort and a high capacity for work, initiative, and agility in learning and engaging with the company, will acquire the necessary tools to compete more effectively for leadership positions.

Grupo Bimbo's Global Internal Audit Department is made up of 130 global auditors located in different countries. The Internal Audit Trainee supports the audit process efficiently and enables the audit team to assess and improve the effectiveness of GB's corporate governance, risk management, and internal control, through the identification of opportunities for improvement and recommendations in work centers where GB has operations.
This position is key in the development of assurance engagements that will help the Internal Audit and advisory function align with the expectations of the interested parties and generate continuous value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support obtaining and analyzing information on the processes to be audited to detect possible areas of risk, performance issues, trends, best practices, among others.
  • Document and understand the regulations applicable to the auditable process.
  • Participate in interviews or workshops to document process flows or any other document necessary to gain an understanding of the process, its risks and controls.
  • Execute audit tests according to the defined procedure.
  • Discuss and validate results and recommendations with the Senior and/or Audit Manager.
  • Document the findings and recommendations in the audit management system.
  • Obtain, review, document and follow up action plans in the audit management system.
  • Support in modifications to the draft of the final audit report.
  • Inform the Senior and/or Audit Manager of the status of action plans generated by the operation and follow up on action plans pending closure.
  • Support the team in administrative tasks
  • The trainee must have a special project assigned, in addition to the audit activities.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills (conflict management, influence and persuasion); provide insightful consulting; detect opportunities for change and facilitate it.
  • Proactive and multi-disciplinary
  • Demonstrate leadership

Experience & Education:
  • Education: Accounting, Administration, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Information Systems Engineering,
  • Graduated within the past 24 months
  • Spanish (Desired)
  • Demonstrated leadership experiences in academic setting.
  • Previous Internal Audit Experience (Desired)
