Hiring Requirements:
The Manager, Human Relations & Corporate Programs plays a strategic leadership role in supporting corporate functional teams across Bimbo Canada, including Finance, Marketing, IT and Sales. This role delivers comprehensive HR solutions that drive associate engagement, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, policy interpretation and compliance. In addition to core HR responsibilities, this role leads key company programs including community donations, associate engagement and Diversity, Equity & Belonging (DEB) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders across corporate functions.
Lead workforce planning, talent development, organizational design and change management initiatives.
Labour relations, union experience and collective agreement interpretation strong assets.
Associate Relations
Lead resolution of complex associate relations issues, including investigations, grievances and disciplinary actions.
Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Bimbo Canada’s values.
Provide coaching and support to leaders on associate engagement and performance management.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Drive recruitment strategies for corporate roles, ensuring alignment with workforce needs and diversity objectives.
Partner with Talent Acquisition and external agencies to attract and retain top talent.
Ensure a seamless and inclusive onboarding experience for all new associates.
Engagement, Culture & Development
Lead the design and execution of associate engagement programs and cultural initiatives.
Drive DEB strategy and programming, including education, events and leadership accountability.
Facilitate leadership development and HR-related training across all levels of the organization.
HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of HRIS transactions and reporting (Oracle).
Collaborate with Payroll and Benefits teams to resolve associate inquiries and support benefit processes.
Monitor compliance with employment laws and internal policies; lead people-related policy development, updates and governance.
Community & Company Programs
Lead Bimbo Canada’s donation and community engagement programs, ensuring alignment with company values and social impact goals.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate charitable initiatives and associate volunteerism.
Measure and report on program effectiveness and community impact.
Projects & Collaboration
Contribute to national and North American HR initiatives and special projects.
Support organizational transformation and change management efforts.
Experience & Education:
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with exposure to CPG/Food sector and unionized environments (labour relations experience is a strong asset).
Proven experience in program management, particularly in DEB and community engagement.
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Deep knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Oracle experience is an asset).
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Ontario as required.
