Hiring Requirements: At Bimbo Canada our “Network” is a diverse network of 1000 franchisees and distributors from coast to coast who bring to life our Direct Service Delivery (DSD) go-to-market model by selling and distributing our incredible range of products to customers large and small. As a key member of the National Network Development team, the Franchise Contract & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and execution of all legal (contract) documentation; development of process support systems, compliance monitoring, and general administrative support of team initiatives including legal and financial risk mitigation. This role and our team provide support to our Field Sales team nationally including our Franchise & Distributor networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Process management – Facilitate and maintain key processes such as new franchisee/distributor agreement execution and contract renewal, including preparation of documents, collection of documents and correspondence with key stakeholders.
Team support - Coordinate and support the Training & Recruiting Manager with the franchisee recruitment process including setting up interviews across Canada. Perform all other assigned duties as required.
Network relationships & communication - Manage and track incoming documents related to new franchisee & distributor onboarding and serve as a key point of contact for the independent operator during this stage. Communication to franchisees & distributors regarding key documentation deadlines and requirements.
Relationships - Successfully foster strong working relationships with the Bimbo Canada Field Sales Teams, franchisees, distributors, Route Accounting, and other team members to manage and organize the administration of processes related to the franchise & distributor management system.
Process management - Successfully execute & monitor risk mitigation processes and tasks for the franchise & distributor network.
Experience & Education:
3–5 years of relevant experience in franchise, legal, insurance, real estate, financial, or other regulated industries involving contract management or process compliance.
Post-secondary education in a business-related discipline such as law clerk or legal research preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in French and English required.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues using analytical and critical-thinking skills in collaboration with internal partners.
Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Strong attention to detail, organizational capability, and time management skills.
Proven ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with multiple deadlines.
Open-minded and adaptable to changing priorities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a high standard of professional ethics.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, SharePoint, and Outlook).
Experience using Oracle and web-based reporting tools considered an asset.
Previous experience with contract documentation or within the franchise industry preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and follow through on key priorities.
Minimal travel required.
