Hiring Requirements: The Operations Sales Leader (OSL) is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, developing talent, expanding market share, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting brand performance across the region. This role ensures that key field‑sales initiatives are effectively developed, managed, and executed within assigned sales centers.
The OSL leads operational workstreams to maximize Independent Operator (I/O) sales and delivery performance, ensuring world‑class execution. They champion the Direct Store Delivery Excellence (DSDE) Playbook across operational functions to support Frontline Independent Operators and enable both business and people growth.
Using strong leadership and sales expertise, the OSL delivers high‑quality sales execution that meets customer needs while supporting the delivery of nutritious and enjoyable baked goods and snacks to Canadians. The role also contributes to a productive, growth‑focused, and purpose‑driven team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrates Bimbo Canada values and DSDE leadership behaviors in daily work.

Develops order, route, and store execution plans to achieve annual sales targets.
Collaborate weekly on order management, inventory distribution, merchandising, promotions, and seasonal planning.
Build team capability and ensure consistent performance management.
Ensures compliance with SBT and payment‑balance policies.
Achieves key performance targets for sales, returns, inventory, and labor.
Leads a high‑performing sales center committed to brand excellence and strong field execution.
Holds field sales teams and independent operators accountable for performance expectations.
Oversees point‑of‑sale material inventory to support merchandising and promotional execution.
Upholds food safety requirements and GB standards.
Drives a strong safety culture focused on eliminating unsafe behaviors and workplace injuries.
Supports sales objectives by delivering KPIs related to revenue, returns, and safety.
Leads efficient receiving, picking, and loading processes to enable sales growth.
Partners with Supply Chain to meet OTIF targets.
Manages POS material levels to meet market needs while minimizing waste.
Supports onboarding and ongoing use of OTTO/Handheld systems.
Communicates customer plans and performance expectations clearly to improve in‑store execution.
Executes DSDE best practices to maintain a world‑class sales center environment.
Ensures accurate product accountability and fleet compliance with safety and branding standards.
Demonstrates strong business acumen, problem‑solving, and decision‑making.
Inspires, influences, and motivates teams to achieve results.
Builds strong customer relationships, plans effectively, and drives results through focused execution.
Experience & Education:
Post‑secondary education with 3–5 years of sales leadership experience, ideally within a CPG and/or Direct Store Delivery environment.
Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain functions, including Distribution, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service.
Proven ability to coach and lead frontline teams to identify and close business development opportunities, applying core sales activities such as selling, merchandising, ordering, and delivery.
Demonstrated track record of people leadership and achieving business growth.
Experience developing and managing effective sales accountability systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Requires frequent walking and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
The annual salary range for applicants is: $67,500 - $100,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
