Position Summary:
The Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring accurate work force planning.  This position is responsible for developing integrated schedules, of different departments, and balancing resource capacities with work demands. The Scheduler is essential for ensuring the seamless execution of the production in compliance with organizational goals and constraints. Alignment with CBA, Managing Vacation request process and approval. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain integrated schedules for multiple departments, ensuring balanced resource allocation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Review and analyze production forecasts and adjust schedules proactively to meet organizational goals and constraints.
  • Coordinating holiday season planning and scheduling
  • Communicate and coordinate schedules across departments to ensure alignment with operational priorities and other departmental needs.
  • Continuously monitor and address scheduling constraints, resource capacities, and task prioritization.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other stakeholders to facilitate effective execution of production plans.
  • Conduct and participate in schedule meetings to address associates' concerns or any specific requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations when preparing and approving schedules.
  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize workforce planning and improve scheduling efficiency.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management regarding scheduling metrics, resource utilization, and potential operational risks.
  • Train staff and provide guidance on scheduling procedures and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in scheduling processes and collaborate on process enhancement initiatives.
Experience & Education:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience scheduling or a related role.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling tools.
  • Strong skills in assessing and prioritizing tasks based, resource availability, and demand planning timelines.
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in coordinating resources, communicating priorities, and mitigating scheduling constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage integrated schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the food industry with a solid understanding of processes. (desired).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of alternative scheduling solutions will be and additional asset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
The annual salary range for applicants is: $45,000 - $65,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
