Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for customer success. If you thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun environment, enjoy working cross-functionally to solve problems and drive results, and naturally challenge the status quo, we’d love to hear from you. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of grocery retail experience (preferably in sales or analytics). The Sales Specialist will be responsible for providing sales support to the Takis business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support
  • Liaise between Bimbo Canada and customers to confirm features, manage invoices/deductions, and resolve issues.
  • Validate deductions and post audits; maintain TMA tracking.
  • Ensure accurate entry and tracking of feature deal sheets internally and externally.
  • Confirm weekly ad placements and communicate changes to sales and demand planning teams.
  • Develop post-mortem analysis for promotion/activation ROI.
Field & Merchandising Communication
  • Prepare and distribute weekly feature and merchandising memos.
  • Actively work to resolve issues flagged by Field Sales.
  • Maintain product pricing setup and shared resources (e.g., price and store lists).
Process Improvement & Administration
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance core sales processes.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Provide administrative support including special projects and team coordination.
Position Outcomes
  • Become a trusted go-to resource for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer strategy to support data-driven recommendations.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to maintain a strong external focus.
Experience & Education:
  • College or University degree in Business or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in the CPG industry, preferably in grocery retail (sales or analytics).
  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexible and responsive to urgent customer needs.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • High level of business acumen and professionalism.
  • Experience with customer-facing roles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Oracle and/or other integrated management systems will be considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) will be considered an asset.
 
The annual salary range for applicants is: $60,000-$80,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
