                                                                               We are actively recruiting Leadership Trainees for our September 2027-2030 cohort.

Rise to Lead is Bimbo Canada's flagship early-career leadership development program for talented, driven, and ambitious post-secondary graduates. For more than 20 years, the program has helped launch the careers of future leaders through meaningful experiences, broad business exposure, and opportunities to make a real impact from day one. Past graduates have gone on to become Operational and Commercial Leaders, Directors, and members of our Executive Team.
Through diverse one-year rotational assignments over three years, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions, develop leadership skills, and build the foundation for a rewarding career with Bimbo Canada. This is not an internship; it's a full-time development experience designed to accelerate your growth and prepare you for future leadership opportunities.

                                                                                                                           Your Three-Year Journey

You’ll get experience through rotations in three key areas of the business:
Commercial (Marketing, Field Sales or Key Account Sales)
Develop your skills in selling, branding, customer strategy, and market execution while leveraging data and consumer insights to drive business results.
Supply Chain (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality/Food Safety, Logistics, Planning or Sustainability)
Learn what it takes to lead teams, solve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
Support Functions (Finance, Procurement or People/Corporate Affairs)
Build strong business acumen and analytical skills while contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, optimize costs, and support profitable growth.

  • Are you committed to immersion in a three-year rotational development program that will provide foundational skills and knowledge to kickstart a career in the food CPG industry?
  • Can you demonstrate leadership through previous work experience, volunteer roles, community activities, academic committees or clubs or involvement in teams?
  • Do you have exceptional communication, interpersonal analytical, and critical thinking skills?
  • Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges in a variety of roles, even when they’re unfamiliar?
  • Do you have a robust skillset in the use of digital tools (Microsoft 365 suite, AI, etc.)? 

                                                                                             If so, GREAT!  Read on…as there are a few more “MUST HAVES”:
  • You’ve graduated within the last 2 years or are expecting to graduate from a post-secondary program in Business, Engineering, Operations management, Food Science, or other related program, in spring/summer 2027 with a minimum overall average of A-
  • You have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • You are excited by the likelihood of being relocated to a major city in Canada as part of annual rotational assignments
  • You have a valid passport and can do short-term international travel as needed (USA, Mexico)
  • You can commit to a full-time start date in September 2027.
NOTE:  Bilingualism (French and English) is highly valued. To support our national talent strategy and business needs, approximately half of available positions will be reserved for candidates who demonstrate professional fluency in both official languages.
The current annual starting salary is: $67,500, plus a discretionary bonus, annual vacation, pension plan participation and a comprehensive benefits package.
