Job Duties:
  • Project management : Supporting the Cleanz system integration and monitoring
  • Will provide support with overseeing the sanitation activities of all processing equipment and plant facilities to meet various production, regulatory requirements, and company standards
  • Maintains all sanitation records, schedules, and procedures
  • Follows, plans, and implements sanitation schedules and coordinates the allocation of resources necessary including labor, equipment, supplies, and time to facilitate an effective food safety- oriented sanitation program
  • Evaluates, monitors, updates, and implements Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Sanitation Performance Standards, and sanitation schedules
  • Ensure all company and regulatory safety requirements are followed
  • Participates in routine inspections and validates sanitation performance standards
  • Works closely with the Quality Assurance team regarding sanitation concerns, validation testing, and ongoing verification of sanitation programs
  • Leads specialized chemical handling and equipment usage training sessions for associates as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, SOP, Chemical Safety, and Sanitation Equipment
  • Able to read and interpret all SDS
  • Strong leadership, communication (both verbally and written), and team building abilities
  • Superior attention to detail, while maintaining a larger role and focus of overall programs
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain operational organization and accuracy
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism and use it to drive improvements
  • Competently able to multi-task and prioritize work activities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, push, pull, twist, bend, squat, kneel, climb, work in cold and hot environments, stooping, and lift up-to 50lbs repetitively as needed
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point)
Education and Experience
  • 2-3 years of Sanitation/QA experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Hours/Days
  • Typically Monday – Thursday & Saturday
(Will depend on business need, likely every other weekend)
  • Shift time will typically be 3pm – 11pm, some change due to business need
Job Type
  • 6 month contract (with the possibility of extension on a month to month basis)

Salary: $38,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
