Bakery Production Worker (Dough Mixer)- Night -Full-Time- Concord

We are looking for someone who possesses an eye for detail, is not afraid of physically demanding tasks, and values safety as your number one priority. Our facility operates 24/7, so being flexible and adaptive with an open schedule is vital.

Job Title: Bakery Production Worker (Full-time)
Location: 144 Viceroy Road, Concord L4K 2L8

Shift Days: Monday- Friday
Shift:
Night, 12:00am – 7:00am (start times will vary and might start on the Sunday evening around 6 pm)
Wage: $20.38/Hour plus night shift premium 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:
  • Operate (start/stop, prepare line from breaks/lunch, knowledge of basic controls) any of these lines as required (CIMs, Annet, Universal, Nordale feeding, Rijkaart Tray loader, Pie Shell).
  • Feed dough to production lines.
  • Load/unload racks and push/pull racks to/from the freezer/cooler.
  • Help load ingredients into mixer and pushing dough bins.
  • Help Team Leads with line setup.
  • Ensure quality of the products is within specifications.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Ensure GMP’s and housekeeping is properly maintained within the work area.
  • All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrate strong leadership abilities and skills consistent with Grupo Bimbo leadership values.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) policies and procedures in a food manufacturing facility.
  • Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written English.
  • Must perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Must have excellent attendance record and flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate the skill and ability to efficiently operate operations lines.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Good understanding of dough types and varieties.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Environment:
  • Required to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Start times, scope and duties of this position may change periodically
Physical Requirement:
  • Ability to lift up to 11kg tray every 7-8 seconds. Lift ~3 trays (21-24 seconds interval above shoulder level) every 84 seconds.
  • Ability to perform an assisted lift up to (10) 25-40kg ingredient bags every 10-12 minutes.
  • Ability to push or pull up to 320kg rack for 25 feet every 3 minutes.
  • Ability to push a dough bin up to 600kg for 15 feet every 11 minutes.
  • Lifting up to 25 kg
  • May be required to work in a freezer environment
