Hiring Requirements: Responsible for effectively coordinating and communicating key business objectives and messages to the field, with a specific focus on the regional execution strategy. Additionally, this role will facilitate core process improvement in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and communicate as appropriate, regional operational/supply initiatives and activities that will impact the field
Act as single point of contact for the receipt of all information pertaining to marketing programs and initiatives
Consolidate and maintain all elements of national marketing programs and customer business strategies into regionally focused execution strategy
Responsible to break down regional execution strategy into one succinct calendar that includes required timing of all critical path activities and links to relevant details
Publish directional details of tactical execution plan to business and track / monitor progress.
Identify gaps in execution of tactical plan and communicate required action
Regularly liaise with Supply Chain in the region to share operational concerns and to understand impending supply issues
Engage on behalf of Field Team for regional project work and initiatives where applicable
Seek opportunities to improve core execution processes and engage and lead cross functional teams as required
Utilize appropriate standardized agendas and forums to prepare for field and execution focused meetings within scope of responsibilities (including MSL & RSL meetings, IO playbooks, AC meetings and cross functional weekly execution meetings)
Leverage established templates, rhythms, and communication protocols to identify key business messages and disseminate them to the field per established protocol
Establish a schedule presenting the regional execution strategy that includes the required time frame of all critical path activities and links to relevant information.
New Associate Onboarding – Support training, Margin Minder, Otto, Ipad as required
Margin Minder Reporting – detailed reports focused on key and timely initiatives with clear concise data
Position Outcomes:
Successful coordination and communication of key regional business messages results in a field sales team that is effectively equipped to implement the required activities in the market.
The development and management of a strong field execution strategy will further enable the field to execute programs and initiatives with consistency and presence in the marketplace, resulting in optimal market performance, profitability and credibility with internal and external customers.
Experience & Education
Business degree and strong knowledge of Direct Store Delivery Systems are both assets
3 – 5 years relevant work experience
High sense of urgency, well organized and able to prioritize effectively
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Comfortable doing presentations to large groups and senior management
Strong leadership qualities. Ability to align, motivate and hold teams accountable for results
Strong communication skills (both oral and written); actively listens to the needs of others
Ability to identify opportunities, set goals and execute plans to achieve goals
Builds commitment and teamwork while maintaining a creative and positive work environment
