Hiring Requirements:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate and timely administrative, payroll, production reporting, purchasing, and maintenance coordination support for the Winnipeg Erin Street plant. This role supports day-to-day plant operations by maintaining accurate records, processing timekeeping and payroll information, coordinating work orders and service requirements, and assisting plant leadership and supervisors with operational tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with associates, supervisors, maintenance, accounting, vendors, and plant management to ensure information is entered, tracked, reconciled, and communicated accurately and on time.
This position requires a collaborative, organized, and proactive individual who can work effectively with limited supervision while maintaining confidentiality, supporting compliance with payroll, GMP, food safety, and health and safety requirements, and contributing to efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processes payroll information with a high degree of accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Uses Kronos to complete daily and weekly timekeeping and other payroll-related processes.
- Responds to associates’ inquiries regarding pay and escalates to Supervisors or Management.
- Supports Plant leadership on administrative duties for facility.
- Assists in running and distributing weekly and monthly reports, as assigned.
- Maintains hourly associates’ personnel records.
- Data collection on the production floor and entry into Oracle.
- Support supervisors in administrative tasks such as – entering manual forms into tracking systems, reporting trends from tracking systems, tracking progress of various projects etc.
- Supports tracking of critical production data – for example: daily waste numbers, weekly results, downtime tracking, shift report reconciliation etc.
- Creates purchase orders as required and works with the Accounting department on the timely processing of invoices and receipts.
- Liaises with vendors to ensure the delivery of parts, services, and equipment per operational requirements.
- Monitor completed work orders for on-time closing and quality feedback.
- Other duties as assigned.
- The successful candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary education; Payroll certification or equivalent an asset.
- Ability to communicate and work with all stakeholders and resources in a frequently changing and challenging production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a definite asset
- Takes initiative, exercises good judgment in day-to-day business decisions.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications
- A minimum of two (2) years of proven experience working with Maintenance Systems (CMMS - IBM Maximo) preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements.
