Reporting into the Senior Manager of Leadership & Organization Development, within the North America Talent Team, the successful candidate will support strategic programs and processes in Leadership Development with a focus on associate experience, competency development, and talent management.  The scope of responsibilities managed by this role will be key in building the skills of our frontline associates, people leaders, and high potential associates across the North America business, in alignment with our global company’s strategic priorities. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

Leadership Development

  • Providing thought leadership and identify solutions and deliverables to build upon the range of formal learning experiences, development opportunities, and competency development
  • Support the execution and management of global and local Talent Programs including early career rotational programs, leadership trainee and acceleration programs, school partnered programs, coaching and mentoring programs, and executive leadership programs
  • Support the execution and management of leadership development curriculum framework and program sustainability
  • Partner with Diversity, Equity & Belonging, Learning Delivery, Human Relations Business Partners, and Operations Management to determine program participants and implementation of small and large leadership initiatives
  • Accountable for effective design and successful implementation of programs and resources which improve leadership skills, behaviors and capabilities, team effectiveness, and associate performance, development and engagement.
Associate Experience
  • Manage onboarding content and program structure of frontline and salaried associates
  • Manage New Hire Surveys, Stay Interviews, and Exit Survey processes and analyze survey data to identify drivers of retention, engagement, and actions to maintain and/or grow engagement.
  • Manage recognition and retention tools and resources and collaborate with field HR partners on execution and adoption
Talent Management
  • Partners with North America Talent Management Team to execute cyclical processes for Bimbo Canada, which include associate profiles, performance and behaviors’ tasks, development plans, quarterly feedback and succession planning
  • Uses experience and expertise to access and analyze talent needs based on performance and skill assessment data for Bimbo Canada
  • Ensures Talent Sessions are customized and created in the Talent tool and accessible for field leaders/HR for Bimbo Canada

Education and Work History: 
Bachelor’s Degree in Learning Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field preferred
Ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bilingual in English and French 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Talent, Leadership Development or in a technical function supporting HR
  • Experience and/or knowledge required to manage, structure and build content within a Learning Management System such as Oracle, Cornerstone, etc.
  • Knowledge of functional areas of Human Relations is preferred
  • Excellent project management, organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and its advanced functions is preferred
  • Demonstrable superior communication skills
