Position Title:     Assistant Customer Business Development Manager

Position Summary:
Working as a member of the CBCL Fresh Customer Business Development team, the incumbent will support and co-manage all aspects of daily, weekly and period business objectives. This individual will provide analytical, task and project support to the Customer Business Development team in all aspects of serving the customer while working to grow profitable volume for one of CBCL Fresh’s largest customers in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between CBCL and the customer with regard to confirmation of features, (temporary rebate form), Management of Invoices, and other related tasks
  • Provide analytical & strategic support to Customer Business Team, including but not limited to: pricing & feature activity analysis, key performance indicator tracking / dashboards, customer reporting, marketing initiative benchmarking
  • Other ad hoc duties and special projects, as required
  • Act as liaison between demand planning and sales; reporting and analysis related to sales and operations planning (S&OP)
  • Participate in cross functional initiatives to ensure adherence to core sales processes, recommend and implement process improvements when identified

  • Seen as a go-to person both externally and internally for all aspects of the business and the customer relationship
  • Deep understanding of customer strategy aiding in analysis & fact-based recommendations that drive unit and sales volume growth
  • Able to work and influence cross-functionally to drive external focus within the CBCL Fresh organization
  • Own and lead customer presentations as assigned by the Business Development team

  • University Degree – Business education preferred
  • 2-5 years sales experience

  • Exceptional Analytical Skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing work environment
  • Flexible and accommodating to urgent customer demands
  • Ability to influence people, and hold people accountable
  • Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong Business Acumen, and able to deal maturely with all levels, both internally and externally
  • Customer exposure and experience is a plus
  • Intermediate or Advanced user of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Experience with AC Nielsen and/or Cognos is a plus
  • Team Player
