Position Summary:  

Reporting to the Senior Advisor, the successful candidate will provide a wide variety of support and services to their assigned client group(s) as it relates to implementation, administration, coordination and, maintenance of Companywide HR programs and initiatives. The ideal person will be an individual that is able to gain the acceptance and credibility from all levels of the organization, from entry level to senior management, and use this influence to affect change and alignment throughout the organization. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Actively involved in the International Mobility program involving the leadership and coordination of all cross-border, domestic and international moves (temporary assignments, permanent relocations and business travel) by liaising between the actual Associates, Managers, Human Relations and our 3rd party Mobility service providers
• Liaise with external Immigration legal service provider to coordinate documentation and facilitate urgent business visitation needs for internal Associates, as well as external contractors
• Key support for our corporate graduate rotational program (Leadership Trainee program) working directly with senior leadership (recruitment, performance management, coaching, succession planning, coordinating events and learning sessions, mentorship program, community outreach) 
• Effectively partner with the business to provide effective and strategic counsel to local stakeholders and actively work to achieve continuous improvement in all areas of the Human Relations function
• Compile monthly reports and analysis, including recommendations for Regional and Corporate use
• Will be actively involved in national HR cycles and reconciliation activities (performance management, salary planning, bonus program, goals setting, etc.)
• Lead and participate in annual Talent Review sessions and provide talent and people development recommendations to functional leaders
• Work directly with Managers to provide Associate compensation recommendations for new hires and internal status changes
• Prepare Associate documentation, including Oracle transaction requirements and audits (offers, associate status changes, termination, internal HRIS processing documentation, etc.)
• Lead and/or back-up national committees, programs and engagement activities(Associate social events, Long Service Awards, YAH recognition program, Diversity, Equity and Belonging, AODA, Vehicle Program, etc.)
• Participate in full cycle recruitment process for salary Associates including position requisition, intake meetings, interviews, on-boarding/off boarding within client group(s)
• Provide coaching and training to salaried Associates and management on HR related issues (hiring and selection, performance management, employment legislation, conflict resolution)
• Leverages maturity, logic and judgement, supported by human resources acumen,and navigate through and/or escalate matters as required
• Manage short-term and long-term disability claim files and liaise with disability service provider
• Investigate all harassment issues/human rights claims, initiate follow-up actions and advise management accordingly

REQUIRED QUALIFCATIONS & SKILLS

• Bilingual (French/English) candidates highly preferred
• Post-secondary education in business or Human Resources, combined with related experience
• 3+ years’ generalist human resources experience providing client support is required
• Experience in a CPG industry considered an asset
• Experience and interest in managing corporate HR programs
• Knowledge of HR trends, practices, and legislation (including relocation, international assignments, immigration, vehicle administration, management trainee programs, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to handle multiple priority projects with a high sense of urgency is essential
• Solid time management and organizational skills are a necessity
• Presentation, facilitation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are a necessity
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
