eCommerce Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:        
This is a transformation role and a priority to achieve sustainable long-term growth. We are looking for an eCommerce Manager, reporting into the Director of eCommerce and Digital and has one direct report. This position is responsible for eCommerce growth and leads Digital Content and Retailer Media Execution for Key Pure Play and OMNI Retailers. This individual will directly manage and work with Content & Retailer Media groups and agency partners to ensure flawless execution and innovation within the field of Content.
           
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  1. Sales and Business Management:
  • Responsible for delivering annual sales and profit targets and building annual plans
  • Develop and manage the Budget and P&L for all E-commerce operations, marketing and sales. Present performance, KPIs, and future sales and marketing plans regularly to top management.
  • Prepare, analyze and develop metrics / scorecards to communicate results of eCommerce initiatives
 
  1. Content Management:
  • Champion eCommerce content assets for use in product carousels and advanced below the fold/brand hub content areas of eRetailer websites, consulting with cross functions - Marketing, Shopper Marketing & Sales.
  • Ensure flawless execution of eRetailer SEO strategies including copy optimization, Taxonomy/Tagging, Grouping Strategy, Title Variation Strategy, etc.
  • Manage content across priority eRetailers, ensuring recency, relevancy, and accuracy, including completing new item uploads, content updates and other maintenance related requests.
  • Facilitate initiatives to generate Ratings & Reviews on eRetailer websites
 
  1. Retailer Media
  • Work closely with eRetailers to develop retailer media strategies driving ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and incremental eCommerce volume.
  • Build eCommerce paid search strategy to drive eCommerce share growth and basket penetration.
 
  1. Direct 2 Consumer (D2C):
  • Define a scalable strategy for D2C model to test and expand.
  • Monitor and enhance online sales activity
  • Drive Performance marketing initiatives in collaboration with agency partners to drive D2C growth.
 
  1. Collaboration and Partnership:
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams including eCommerce Sales, Media & Integrated Marketing, Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing to insure alignment with content needs and plans
  • Plan and conduct eCommerce business review meetings with customer’s
  • Provide thought leadership and help educate the company to raise the overall eCommerce/Digital IQ
  • Be a “go-to” person with the ability to work across the organization as well as setting direction/expectations with stakeholders on eCommerce programs


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • CPG Experience preferred
  • eCommerce experience required in addition to familiarity with eRetailer platforms.
