Job Title: Shipper and Receiver Associate with Forklift Operator Location: 107 Walker Drive, Unit 3, Brampton, ON L6T 5K5 Shift: Afternoon: 03:00PM- 11:30PM (Monday- Friday)
Night: 11:00PM- 07:30AM (Sunday- Thursday) Wage: $25.46/Hour Temperature: -18 °C (Freezer Environment)
POSITION SUMMARY Individual is responsible to ship, receive, and record the movements of incoming or outgoing materials. Associate works both as a member of a crew and individually, under minimal supervision, to perform the functions of the job. The role requires following instructions and pre-established guidelines.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Completion of high school
Experience with Counterbalance, Dockstocker, Double Walkie, Single Walkie and Swing Reach is preferred and an asset
Operate a variety of shipping equipment (i.e., Push Truck) to load, unload, transport, and store materials into appropriate areas (i.e., Trailers)
Prepare tickets using the computer, Oracle software system
Record shortages and reject damaged goods
Inspect and verify incoming or outgoing goods against invoices or other documents
