WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A skilled and confident Maintenance Electrician to join our amazing Maintenance team! We want someone who possesses manual dexterity and has an eye for detail, install, maintain, test and trouble-shoot equipment, and values safety as your number one priority. This is a full-time role, which presents a great opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast paced facility in the food industry.
Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Location:144 Viceroy Road, Concord L4K 2L8 Shift:Continental shift- 7:30 AM- 8PM/ 7:30PM- 8AM (Rotating every two weeks) Wage: $40.05/Hour (Dual ticket, triple ticket or holds a valid Refrigeration Certificate Class B, they will receive an additional $2.50 added to their rate with maximum of $5)
WHAT WE NEED?
Must have valid 309A or 442A license
Must have 2 years full-time working experience within maintenance and formal training would be an asset
Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and breakdowns
Must be able troubleshoot AC/DC motors, VFDs and PLC I/O modules
Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics
Good communication skills and basic computer skills
Must be willing to work a continental 12-hour shift
Must be open to working overtime as needed
Must have good knowledge of maintenance policy and procedures
Must have excellent work & attendance record
PLC experience is beneficial
Refrigeration “B” license is an asset
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:
Maintenance and repair of plant equipment and completion of issued work orders and P.M’s within specified times
Ensure required documentation is completed and submitted on time
Assist with equipment moving, modification, and plant alterations
All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
