Job Title: General Production Worker Location:144 Viceroy Road, Concord L4K 2L8 Shift Days: Monday to Friday Shift: Afternoon, 03:30pm – 12:00am Wage: Starting rate- $19.86/Hour, after 6 months- $20.36/Hour and after 12 months- $22.31/Hour
POSITION SUMMARY Motivated individual who can oversee products and complete tasks related to mixing, baking, and packaging.
WHAT WE NEED?
Must meet the physical demands required for the job.
Able to pack product in a fast-paced environment and keep up with the standard line speed.
Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity is an asset.
Ability to take direction from lead-hand and Supervisor.
Ability to work with others and demonstrate respectfulness.
Able to verbally communicate with others on shop floor.
Able to learn basic food safety and safety concepts.
Open to working overtime as needed.
Excellent work and attendance record.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS:
Communicate with Team Leads if problem arises with product or machine line.
Packing or shaping of product at rate of production line.
Promote a safe work environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Depending on production requirements, associates may be assigned alternate duties and additional responsibilities
Able to stand, push and/or pull for extended periods of time
Bend croissant dough shapes at a rate of 40 / min (using both hands)
Fold turnovers at a rate of 52 / min (using both hands)
Feed product into end-opened boxes at a rate of 56 / min
Periodic lifting up to 13 kg (30 lbs)
Lift ~3.0 kg (6.5 lbs) of product and pack into boxes at a rate of 8 times / min
Lift 5 kg (11 lbs) of dough at a rate of 4 times / min
