Manager, Revenue Growth Management

Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Manager, Revenue Growth Management to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of pricing related strategies across products in Bimbo Canada’s Retail portfolio with the goal to maximize business deliverables – unit volume, profit and share.   The position will be situated in our Toronto head office and report directly into the Director of Insights & RGM.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Develop and evaluate pricing and promotional plans that will guide our revenue growth strategies and annual business plans.  This includes:
    • Communicating clear pricing guidelines and promotional tactics (frequency, timing, bundling) to the sales organization aimed at maximizing business deliverables across channels and customers
    • Assessing current pricing and promotions practices to improve efficiency of spend and profit
    • Working with Marketing to assist in developing category and segment/tier pricing strategies, as well as new products pricing architecture
    • Providing guidance to Sales and Sales Finance to tailor price strategies by Customer - customer invoice and dead net ensuring pricing strategy is aligned with banner category strategies
    • Evaluating the need for long term price changes and any subsequent volume and profit impact across the portfolio

Qualifications & Experience
  • University degree
  • 5 to 7 years of successful experience in a CPG environment, with a focus on Revenue Growth Management and/or Pricing responsibilities within a Commercial team
  • Strong understanding of revenue management fundamentals including pricing segmentation, trade spend optimization, pricing tiers, price elasticity models, portfolio segmentation, and customers’ margin structure and profitability
  • Ability to communicate to senior management with data and information in a clear and concise fashion
  • Action-oriented bias, with a keen focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive, curious, creative and innovative thinker with the ability to energize and influence
  • Collaborative with the ability to forge strong internal and external relationships
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
