Hiring Requirements: Reporting to the Vice President, Planning & Logistics, this role will lead Bimbo Canada’s distribution and warehousing strategy and execution as part of the Canadian Supply Chain Leadership Team. A proven distribution leader, this individual will create a safe, efficient, and best-in-class distribution network in the baked goods and snacking industry. They will work closely with Americas divisions, oversee three direct reports and third-party partners, and collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Safety Leadership Serve as Bimbo Canada’s Safety Ambassador, fostering a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Standardization & Innovation Develop and implement standardized distribution and warehousing processes nationwide, driving improvements through process reengineering, digitalization, and emerging technologies.
Network Optimization Optimize space utilization, inventory accuracy, and productivity across the warehouse network. Collaborate with Regional Logistics Managers to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Lean Operations Continuously refine network design and cost structure. Establish and track KPIs, driving operational effectiveness and supporting logistics and sales teams with tools and insights for a best-in-class route-to-market operation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Build partnerships across teams in Canada and globally, aligning distribution strategies with company goals and serving as the main point of contact for distribution and warehousing.
Associate Engagement Foster a culture aligned with Grupo Bimbo’s values, promoting diversity, equity, belonging, and associate engagement to unlock discretionary effort.
Leadership Team Contribution Provide strategic input and collaboration as a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team, contributing to a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Skills & Knowledge: Leadership A proven operational distribution leader with a track record of elevating organizational capabilities, optimizing costs, and supporting revenue growth.
Functional Expertise Demonstrated success in delivering sustained cost and service performance in fast-paced, large-scale, multinational operations, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
Strategic Vision Strong ability to anticipate change, identify opportunities, and implement innovative solutions that drive business-wide improvements.
Results-Oriented Determined and focused on achieving goals, advancing initiatives, and driving engagement through clear targets and empowerment.

Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, and Warehousing, with 7+ years in management.
Strong CPG experience, ideally in food and/or DSD environments.
Expertise in Canadian distribution, unionized workforces, and systems like WMS, TMS, Oracle, SAP.
French language skills are an asset.
