Position Summary:        
As a member of the Walmart National Customer Business Development team, the incumbent will manage all aspects of Bimbo’s Snacking Categories; Vachon, Takis & Sanissimo businesses. This individual will be responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships, managing, and growing both BC and the customer’s business, and bringing category management knowledge and expertise to the customer in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This candidate should be a self-starting, detail oriented, independent individual who displays initiative and commitment to winning.
              
Position Responsibilities:
  • Representative and SPOC for Walmart Snack Cake/Salty Snack portfolio managing all aspects of business day-to-day both externally and internally as the customer and category expert
  • Meet or exceed budget targets in all segments 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships internally and with the customer
  • Clear insight into and understanding the customers overall business and strategy
  • Lead the development and/or refinement of the total Snack Cake/Salty Snack customer plan, working in partnership with the customer and the BC category management team
  • Sell in BC Marketing initiatives to the customer, using a fact-based approach to reinforce benefits to the consumer and the total Snacking category
  • Act as a liaison between BC and the customer with regard to confirmation of features, events, and promotional planning
  • Identify new opportunities to drive profitable growth for both BC and customer.  Provide analytical support to the customer on pricing and feature activity analysis
  • Understand and leverage our value chain; work with customers to plan programs to improve their business results and leverage our execution capabilities
  • Ensure clear communication of customer priorities and feature events for effective execution of customer plans through key Field Sales relationships while adhering to core sales processes
  • Update and manage all feature entries and forecasting with demand planning.  Provide accurate forecasts by key business segment to support BC supply chain planning and budgeting process
  • Play a critical role in customer contract negotiations

Required Experience And Education:
  • University Degree – Business education preferred
  • 3-5 years sales experience

Required Skills And Knowledge:
  • Customer exposure experience is mandatory in CPG
  • Strong commercial sense and industry knowledge

  • Intermediate or Advanced user of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Experience with Retail Link and AC Nielsen
  • Valid driver’s license
