Hiring Requirements:
The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the bakery production and the people and systems involved in a high-performance cross-functional team environment. This role requires a proactive leader who can inspire performance, foster collaboration, and maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance, ensuring our “Life Saving Rules” are always followed. Success in this position demands exceptional communication skills, solid technical knowledge, and the ability to drive operational excellence through effective planning, organization, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to advance safety performance and foster a strong safety culture, including participating in ongoing safety and wellness training and audits to ensure compliance
Support and develop production supervisors, team leads, and production teams through coaching and performance management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., maintenance, quality assurance) to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining product integrity and adhering to GMP, HACCP, and SOP standards.
Maintain work areas to exceed cleanliness and orderliness expectations, promoting GBLS culture.
Oversee recruitment and selection of associates, team leads, and supervisors.
Assign ownership for production processes and monitor accountability.
Manage departmental spending and establish performance and efficiency standards.
Address associate and labor relations issues, including corrective actions.
Ensure that quality and food safety standards are met and exceeded.

Experience & Education:
Degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent continuous learning through certifications and professional development.
5–7 years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Kronos, Oracle, Maximo, and statistical software is an asset.
Knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards.
Strong coaching, team building, and career development skills for both hourly and salaried associates.
Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration and empower frontline associates.
Demonstrate commitment to health and safety standards.
Strong project management, procedural development, and financial acumen.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
The annual salary range for applicants is: $67,700 - $100,000 which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
